The Addams Family settles on Netflix France

This October, Netflix France has put together an ideal program for Halloween by adding the two films to its catalogue The Addams Family by Barry Sonnenfeld. These two 90s classics, released in 1992 and 1993, it marked an entire generation before the series Wednesday updates the gothic and humorous universe of the famous family.

Unforgettable shows

One of the strengths of the two films undoubtedly lies in the exceptional casting which was able to capture the essence of each character. Angelica Huston plays a Frozen Morticia yet attractive, the late Raul Julia brings to life a Gomez Addams passionately devoted to his family, while Christopher Lloyd excels in the eccentric role of Uncle Foul.

Christina Ricci, for her part, marked an entire generation with her interpretation of Wednesday Addams. Thanks to his stoic game, almost worryingshe managed to embody this little girl with a macabre spirit with a disconcerting naturalness.

Long before we saw Jenna Ortega reprise this role in the hit series WednesdayCristina Ricci was already an emblem of this character.
