It’s only been a few weeks since Beavis and Butt-Head’s first feature film in 26 years. the well received Beavis and Butt-Head create the universe – and somehow the gods have aligned the stars for fans to see them for the first time the return of the duo to the small screen . I’m not sure I’ve ever been this excited to see something so intentionally stupid, but it’s so 100% here, and the Paramount + trailer proved it was worth it. Also, it revealed the date of the premiere of the revival, and it’s just around the corner. The same place where Beavis makes his fondant.
Beavis and ButtheadEpisodic rebirth will come Paramount + subscribers From Thursday 4 August. And as anyone who watches the trailer will see (even those who haven’t seen the movie yet), creator Mike Judge hasn’t missed a beat in the years since the goofy duo was last seen watching music videos while filming the movie . the characters’ lives seem much more rewarding in comparison. In any case, the difference of Revival of a 2011 MTV season it simply makes the childish humor characteristic of the show much more refreshing in some ways. It is clear that these characters remain near and dear to Judge’s brilliant brain, which can only mean good things for viewers.
The trailer offers an assortment of hilarious moments that I can’t wait to see in full. Is Beavis going crazy with an electric drill in the middle of Mr. Van Driessen’s class? Love you. Butt-Head’s face got stuck in Beavis’ butt as they fell down the stairs while inside a cardboard box? I like it too. Did Beavis knock over a crawl space with a rake and apparently mail it to Mr. Van Driessen before or after he also received one in the mail? My life was empty without it.
Honestly, I could only have seen the first third of Beavis and ButtheadThe first trailer was already perfectly satisfied, but luckily there was another minute filled with weird, awkward and rude moments, not to mention Beavis in various forms of grief. (His hooked lip is simply divine.)
Plus, as someone who shamelessly loves escape rooms, I’m absolutely ready to see Beavis and Butt-Head putting their combined brains together (intentional lack of plural use) to get out of there. Of course, as they indicated by finding clues in the building’s bathroom, they probably missed some instructions along the way. And one of those instructions was probably “learning things”.
However, there is one thing you will never have to teach Beavis: Fiirrrrrre.
So go to the window, make sure Todd isn’t hiding outside, then set your calendars for Beavis and Butt-Head premiere to Supreme + (opens in a new tab) Thursday 4th August. While only seven of the previously released seasons are currently available to stream on the platform, it has already been confirmed that all 11 seasons, along with the original music videos, will be added to the service in the near future. Combined with the imminent return of bred clone and the would give spin-off, it’s the perfect time to be obsessed with MTV animated series.
In the meantime, check out the other great TV shows Paramount + has to offer and head to our 2022 TV premiere dates to see what new shows and shows are on the way.
