He left. But come back. And here’s the news: after a period of absence, Ricardo Arjona returns to the music scene with “Seco”, his new album.
The musician himself brought forward the cover of “Seco”, which shows his most intimate, authentic and vulnerable side.
And he also explained why he decided to call it that: “For those who know me, I have always been Ricardo, I have been Arjona or Ricardo Arjona. For those who love me, I have always been El Seco.”
In this work, Arjona pays homage to her parents and reflects deeply on her life, her love and her music.
“After two spinal surgeries, a few screws and a lot of uncertainty, taking that first step was like drawing a line in the wind,” he revealed on his social media.
His break with music was due to a delicate rehabilitation that began with treatment in Barcelona after two operations: “Sec, this journey I began in a wheelchair and in hospital rooms for the first months, and I ended up walking, almost running. I went inside when I wrote this project, celebrated life and cried. Everything is put there, things of the heart, those of life and those of time,” he explained.
The cover shows a child, Arjona himself, “Seco”, who is shown to the world today.
