New movies added this week to Netflix
This week on Netflix, subscribers can watch a rich selection of films, spanning various genres, from drama and action to horror and comedy.
From October 15th See you up there arrives on the platform. This film by Albert Dupontel, adapted from the novel by Pierre Lemaitre, is set in 1919 and follows two former soldiers who embark on a war memorial scam.
Transported by a visually remarkable mise-en-scène, it is a moving historical fresco that has left its mark on French cinema, awarded with five Caesarsincluding best director.
On October 16th, Snow White and the Huntsman will be available. This film revisits the story of Snow White by adding a twist darker and more epic. Kristen Stewart, in the role of Snow White, finds herself facing the evil queen played by Charlize Theron.
Horror arrives on October 18th with the first two parts of the saga Cry. These slasher classics, directed by Wes Craven, continue to be a point of reference for the genre. Mixing self-irony and bloody scenes, Cry AND Screams 2 they were able to mark a generation and today they remain essential films for horror fans.
Comedy will also be the focus selfiesa satire of our ultra-connected society. This comedy, with a series of interconnected sketches, questions our relationship with new technologies and social networks and the obsession with image. Funny and biting, this film brings together a cast of French cinema talent and offers a ferocious yet humorous look at the excesses of our digital age.
Note that on October 18th Netflix will host Anna Kendrick’s first film as director: A woman is at stakein which he also plays the lead role. The story follows a woman who meets a serial killer on a dating show in 1970s Los Angeles.

New series added this week on Netflix
As for series, we will especially note the arrival of two highly anticipated new seasons on Netflix this week, which should delight fans of legal dramas and adventures.
First, the series Lincoln’s defensewhich will begin its third season on October 17. Adapted from the novels by Michael Connelly, this series immerses us in the daily life of Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), a lawyer who defends complex cases from the back seat of his Lincoln.
This new season marks a turning point in Mickey’s lifebecause he is embarking on a particularly risky personal affair. In fact, he is defending the person accused of the murder of Gloria Dayton, his dear friend and former client. What seems like a professional investigation soon becomes an intimate and dangerous struggle, where risks accumulate.
From an animation point of view, dinosaur lovers will also be served with the second season of Jurassic World: Chaos Theoryavailable from October 17th. After having fascinated viewers in the first season, the series follows The Cretaceous Coloreturns with new dangers and even more ferocious creatures.
The young heroes of the series, nicknamed the Family campthey continue their search for answers while chasing a mysterious antagonist. This time their adventures will take them to the four corners of the globe, where they will encounter new dinosaurs.
