History of the attic : Marie Colomb plays Loana Worship
Who says History of the attic (2001-2002)he says obviously Loanafirst winner of the show with Christophe, and on whom attention has focused for better or for worse. Furthermore, it is still his name that is first mentioned when the program is mentioned. Worshipavailable on Prime Video from October 18thlogically attributes great importance to it and makes it a decisive element for the success of the History of the attic. The one with which a change will happen.
In the series, Maria Colombina embodies it perfectly, adopting a similar attitude, and a close apparition thanks to the makeup and costume teams. The actress also learned by watching Loft Story, interviews or reading Loana’s book to better understand her character, as she told us in an interview.
I tried to find out as much as I could about her. Through the Loft, interviews and his book. The book helped me enormously in understanding Loana’s childhood. How he experienced things, to have his own point of view and not just modified images.
The choice to reproduce the swimming pool scene
The passage of Loana History of the attic was marked by “pool scene”. Over the course of an evening, the candidate experienced an intimate moment with Jean-Edouard, filmed by cameras and broadcast for a few seconds before the production cut. Enough to make the CSA, the public and the celebrity press react. Worship evoke this sequence at the beginning of episode 1, before see it again in episode 3 showing both what was on television and what was happening behind the scenes.
For the authors Nicolas Slomka and Matthieu Rumani it was necessary to stage all these elements. The “pool scene” was an important moment in the history of French television, and therefore for the series. Furthermore, according to Nicolas Slomka, it was not a traumatic moment for Loana.
It seemed unthinkable not to present this scene because it is a crucial moment in the history of French television. There really is a before and after for all the characters, not just for Loana. And she herself doesn’t talk about it as a trauma resulting from going to the pool. The reality is that she was very much in love with Jean-Edouard. The bad memory he has for her is thrown behind him.

An opinion shared by Marie Colomb, who told us that this scene has not been forgotten and that, today, there would be nothing shocking about it.
Everyone still has it in mind today. So I think it’s not crazy to do it again. If we put it in context, at that moment, it’s absolutely crazy. But today… We don’t see much of the scene. Also to do. I’ve done much more intimate scenes. Much more advanced. So it doesn’t seem disrespectful to me at all.
