French director Pierre Morel, known for his action films such as Taken AND Suburbs 13presents his new spy thriller titled Canary black. This British film, available on First Video from 24 October 2024, characteristics Kate Beckinsale in the main role.

Between espionage and terrorism, Canary black offers an immersion in the complex world of international espionage.

Kate Beckinsale plays Avery Gravesa high-level CIA agent. Her personal life is turned upside down when her husband is kidnapped by terrorists and her house is ransacked. The kidnappers use her husband as leverage to force Avery to betray her agency and her country.

They ask for her to help them get a mysterious file called Canary blackat the center of a conspiracy with global consequences.

Without the support of his colleagues or superiors, Avery Graves must rely on his own abilities and make unexpected alliances, even with people he has fought before. She tries to save her husband while trying to foil a major plot.

Canary black also marks the return of Kate Beckinsale in a main action role.

Known for her performances in Underworld AND Pearl HarborHe plays a determined agent facing personal and professional challenges.

The film was shot in Croatia between October 2022 and January 2023. Interestingly, the production team managed to transform the Italian-Croatian town of Rovinj in a neighborhood of Tokyo.
