In an interview with BBC News to promote the launch of an exhibition by the filmmaker in London, Burton explained how “anyone who knows me knows I’m a bit of a technophobe.”
“If I look online, I found out that I became quite depressed. It scared me because I started going down a dark hole. So I try to avoid it because it doesn’t make me feel good,” said the iconic director. “I get depressed very quickly, maybe more quickly than other people. But it doesn’t take much for it to start clicking and short-circuiting.”
