Demi Lovato suffers facial injuries after accident: ‘I got stitches’

Demi Lovato suffered facial injuries and needed stitches after hitting her head on a crystal the day before her appearance on the talk show Jimmy KimmelLive! last Wednesday, 13th, according to information from the NME.

The singer went to TikTok to share about the accident, and posted a video in which it showed a hand covering his forehead as the viral sound “nobody’s gonna know” played as the track of the publication.

Then, Lovato then removes his hand from his forehead to reveal a bloody cut, and mutters the word “f***” with a smile. In the caption, the artist wrote: “Guess who hit their head on a crystal and needs stitches before Kimmel tomorrow?”

The singer’s participation in the Jimmy KimmelLive! last Thursday, the 14th, came before the release of “substance.” The pop-punk song serves as the second single from Holy Fvckeighth studio album by Demi Lovato, which is set to be released on August 19, 2022 on Island label. The lead single, “Skin Of My Teeth,” was released in June of the same year.

Demi Lovato announces shows in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte

attraction of Rock in Rio 2022, Demi Lovato announced two more presentations in Brazil. The shows will take place on August 30 at Espaço Unimed [antigo Espaço das Américas]in São Paulo, and September 2 at Esplanada do Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte.

For now, there is no information about ticket prices and start of sales. The dates are part of Holy Fvck Tour and were posted on Instagram by Lovato. So far 31 performances have been confirmed to promote the album. HOLY FVCK(2022), which will be released on August 19.

At the Rock in Rio, Lovato performs on September 4 at the Mundo Stage, the same that hosts attractions such as Iza, Justin Bieber and Migos. Tickets for the festival are sold out. Check out all the information and lineup here.
