Fans of the manga will recognize some emblematic gimmicks, such as Laura’s famous bat, which reserves some memorable “fixes” for Nicky. The action scenes, including stunts and slapstick humor, give energy to the whole thing.

Keep in mind that this project took years to make. The rights to adapt the work were not easy to obtain, but Lacheau’s perseverance paid off. His love for the character is felt in every detail and he even received encouragement from the manga’s creator, Tsukasa Hōjō, who validated this French rereading!
