Nicky Larson is the private detective who accepts the most unlikely missions… but who has a weakness for beautiful women (a detail that often leads him into absurd situations). Director Philippe Lacheau, unconditional fan of Nicky Larsonhe surrounded himself with his usual team (Élodie Fontan, Tarek Boudali, Julien Arruti) to offer a comedy full of winks. Fans of the manga will recognize some emblematic gimmicks, such as Laura’s famous bat, which reserves some memorable “fixes” for Nicky. The action scenes, including stunts and slapstick humor, give energy to the whole thing.

His love for the character is felt in every detail and he even received encouragement from the manga’s creator, Tsukasa Hōjō, who validated this French rereading!

Upon its release, the film attracted more than one million spectators to theaters, a great success for this bold bet by Philippe Lacheau, who certainly knows how to attract the public’s favor.
