King Charles appeared at the premiere of Gladiator 2, starring Paul Mescal and directed by Ridley Scott, in London at Leicester Square
Actor known for productions such as Normal People (2020), All of Us Strangers (2023) and Aftersun (2022), Paul Mescal he knew Charles IIIKing of the United Kingdom and 14 other States, during the release of Gladiator 2 (2024), but didn’t seem to care much.
On November 13, 2024, the artist saw the monarch in person at the film’s premiere in London. The event took place at Leicester Square and helped raise money for Film and TV Charity.
During an interview with Variety, Mezcal was asked about the meeting with the King and said he was surprised by the event. “How wild is that? It’s definitely not something I thought was on bingo cards,” he said.
