Showtime limited series satellites Keep completing the cast.
The drama, set in Washington, DC, added Jelani Aladdin, Noah J. Ricketts and Linus Roach as regulars. Joining the previous cast members are Matt Bomer (who is also an executive producer), Alison Williams and Jonathan Bailey.
Based on the novel by Thomas Malone, Companions spans several decades, starting with the McCarthy era in Washington, following the romance between Hawkins Fuller (Bomer), a political agent, and Tim Laughlin (Bailey), an idealistic college graduate.
Aladdin (Walking Dead: World Beyond) will play Marcus Hooks, a journalist covering racism at the time in the Senate. rickets (frozen on Broadway) will play Frankie Hines, a drag artist at an underground gay nightclub frequented by Hawkins and Marcus. cockroach (Law and Order, Fatherland) plays the senator. Wesley Smith, father of Lucy Smith of Williams and father figure of Hawkins.
A Showtime and Fremantle production satellites, which will begin filming later this month in Toronto. Oscar and Emmy nominee Ron Niswaner (hometown philadelphiaAdapted from Malone’s novel and executive produced with Bomer and Robbie Rogers (all americans). Daniel Minham (Halston, American Criminal History) will produce and direct the first two episodes.
