Last Wednesday, December 4, Netflix added to its catalog a new Italian historical drama: The children’s train. Previously presented at the Rome International Film Festival, the feature film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by the Neapolitan author Viola Ardoneand published in 2019. It focuses on one of the episodes that occurred in the 1940s in Italy.
