Cardellino returns with “Sukha”, his new albumwhich combines music and cinema in a unique sensory experience.
Inspired by Sanskrit, where Sukha means “state of wholeness”, this work reflects an inner and spiritual journey of the artist, which explores the idea that “the best place in the world is here and now”.
In “Sukha”, Cardellino fuses a wide range of musical stylesAfro-Latin rhythms like Afrobeat, bachata, Colombian cumbia and funky Carioca, with touches of candombe, paying homage to his native Uruguay.
This diversity mixes with a more electronic and darker side, offering innovative productions.
The album includes collaborations with renowned international artists, such as Nelick (French rap), Mike Bahía (Colombian), Elsa y Elmar and the duo Monsieur Periné, who bring their unique style to songs, like “Medicina Natural” , a romantic cumbia, and “Il dolce far niente”, a festive and relaxed song.
Each song on the album comes with a high-quality video cinematographic.
