The extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives on Netflix

Presented ahead of its release in December 2021 as one of the events of the year, Spider-Man: No Way Home assumed this status. The feature film directed by Tom Holland was a true phenomenon. He collected more than 1 billion and 976 million dollars at the global box office. And so it became the third biggest hit in MCU historyplace it still occupies today.

Several months after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, a long version of the film had in turn been screened in theaters. Now, if I hadn’t been able to find out at the time, now you can catch up if you subscribe to Netflix. Because the streaming platform offers this long version from Sunday 15 December.

Another 11 minutes

Compared to the film released in theaters in December 2021, the long version of Spider-Man: No Way Home contains Another 11 minutes. These are divided into several scenes inserted at different points in the film. Warning, spoilers will follow!

These additional scenes include: more interactions between the characters played by Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. Including a slightly longer conversation between the three before the final battle. Daredevil will also get a little more screen time in the extended version. The latter also contains a new post-credits scene. Replaces the trailer of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessshown in the shorter version.

A fourth film is in preparation

If you have a Netflix subscription, you can now watch this extended version of Spider-Man: No Way Home. As for Spider-Man’s future, it’s brewing behind the scenes. Tom Holland will really be back in a fourth film focusing on his character. It will be always accompanied by ZendayaMJ’s interpreter. This new work should be this time directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

Last October, the British actor assured that he and Zendaya were very enthusiastic about the film’s script. A few days later he revealed it the filming of Spider-Man 4 would begin in the summer of 2025. If the feature film doesn’t have a release date yet, we can assume it will be revealed in the second half of 2026.
