In the 2000s, only 102 people were recorded with the name Palo. St. Paul is the state with the largest number of registers, followed by Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, ParanĂ¡ and Rio Grande do Sul.

After the negative repercussion, Mariana Rios published a video for her son, confiring criticism. “Palo, my dear son, the mother is here, I just woke up, still in pajamas, recording this video so that you can watch in a few years when you understand your name. The name, my son, could have a meaning or not, because whoever makes the name are us.”
According to her, a name can bear the strength of a story, the beauty of a meaning or the poetry of an intention. “But alone, it’s just a sound,” he wrote in the description of the published video.
