First images of the animated series
The series is highly anticipated The battle of the leaders just revealed its first trailer. We find it there in particular the usual clashes between Romans and Gaulseasily dominated by the latter. Caesar’s mother also makes an appearance, reminding her son that he failed to conquer all of Gaul.
Aesthetically, the images recall those of the animated films by Louis Clichy and Alexandre Astier. Released in 2014 and 2018 respectively, The dominion of the gods AND The secret of the magic potion It received an excellent reception from the public and the press. Coming out next year on Netflix
The animated series The battle of the leaders will have 5 episodes of approximately 30 minutes. It will arrive on Netflix in 2025. On the other hand, the streaming platform has not yet given a precise date. But the situation shouldn’t take long to change.
On the big screen side, a new feature film Asterix and Obelix is in preparation. As announced last April, it will be produced by StudioCanal. We still don’t know which comic he will adapt, nor if he will offer us a new story.
