The first casting news for this project was released in late June and today it was revealed that Kurt Russell and another actor who appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been added to the lineup. Kurt Russell, who played Ego guardians of the galaxy vol. of themand Wyatt Russell, who played John Walker on the Disney + series The hawk and the winter soldier, the two will appear in this MonsterVerse series that Apple TV + subscribers will be able to watch at a yet to be defined date. No details about their roles have been shared, but they will appear alongside Anna Sawai, Ren Watabe, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski.
The MonsterVerse series will mark the third time Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell have starred together on a project; as a child, the second appeared in the films of the first Escape from Los Angeles Yes Soldier. As for his distinguished and most recent pro engagements, Kurt Russell has played Mr. Nobody in the last three majors Fast & Furious movie and Santa Claus in the Christmas Chronicles film, while Wyatt Russell starred The woman at the window Yes Under the banner of heaven.
