David Corenswet is the new one Superman
After being played for the last time on film by Henry Cavill, one of the most famous superheroes of all time will make his return in the guise of David Corenswet. The new movie Supermandirected by James Gunn and that will be the first of the new DC universewill be released in theaters next year.

A first trailer full of characters
The first trailer of Superman presents us with the famous hero in a very bad situation. Landing violently on the snow, he appears seriously injured. But he soon calls upon Kryptohis dog with superpowers and who comes to help him. The trailer also shows us the main protagonist in the guise of his alter ego, Clark Kent. We also find the setting of the Daily Planet, which Clark works alongside Lois Lanewhich we also see.
The trailer doesn’t just show us Superman and Lois. It also makes a scene many other important characters of the film. Played by Nicholas Hoult, Lex Luthor appears there. But also Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, Mister Terrific and Metamorpho. We can also see Clark’s adoptive father, Jonathan. Marta, however, is not present in these first images.

Superman will be available in theaters next summer. James Gunn’s film will arrive in theaters in France July 9, 2025. As previously mentioned, it will be the first feature film in the new DC universe. It is therefore part of the first chapter of this universe, entitled “Gods and Monsters”.
The next films of this same chapter will be Supergirl: the woman of tomorrow AND Clay face. They will be released in French cinemas respectively June 24, 2026 Then September 9, 2026. Feature films The Authority, Batman: The Brave and the Bold AND Swamp thing they are also in development. But they don’t have a release date yet.
