The Idol marks Jennie’s career debut as an actress

In an interview with the South Korean news agency Yonhap News Agencythe member of the BLACKPINK shared what motivated her to join The Idol. “I found the script very intriguing, so I wanted to be a part of the series,” he said in a statement sent by YG Entertainment.
