Bobbi Faye Ferguson, actress and mother cheaters Star Jay R Ferguson has died. He was 78 years old.
Ferguson, a native of Sherman Oaks, died on June 25 of natural causes, his son’s representatives at Industry Entertainment announced Friday.
Bobby Fay was born on October 10, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in Eudora, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, taught speech and debate at Skyline High School in Dallas, and was a founding member and acting teacher at KD Studio.
She moved to Los Angeles and worked as a model and actress, appearing on shows like The Duke of Hazzard, Autumn Boy, Dallas, Designers, Remington Steele s Night Shadowwhere his son played Taylor Newton, son of Burt Reynolds and the characters of Marilou Henner.
He also taught at the Actor’s Lab in Los Angeles.
In the mid-1990s, President Clinton appointed Ferguson to lead NASA’s multimedia program in Washington, D.C., and he served as the organization’s spokesperson for seven years. He was later hired as a consultant on space films by the likes of Clint Eastwood. space cowboys (2000) and Werner Herzog wild blue there (2005).
