Zach Galligan was a surprise guest during Friday’s event as the star of the 1984 film. gremlins And its 1990 sequel revealed an as-yet-unrevealed role in the animated show set in 1920s China. Randall Park, Sandra Oh, George Takei, and Bowen Young were also announced as voice actors, with their roles yet to be announced.
Galligan told fans that his involvement with this series and recently gremlins– Mountain Dew-themed commercials claim that Warner Bros. strengthens the franchise and prepares it for new adventures for you.

Park appeared in a pre-recorded video segment where he said, “I can’t say which character I’m going to play just yet, but I can’t wait for you to find out next year.”
The panel ended with the team showing the entire first episode, in which young Sam met Gizmo’s adventurous grandfather (James Hong).
Ming-Na Wen, BD Wong, Matthew Rhys and Gabrielle Green voice the series, which will premiere in 2023.
