Emma Holly Jones, a fast-rising British filmmaker whose first feature film Mr. Malcolm Recently released by Blacker Street in the US and internationally handled by Universal, signed with CAA.
A Regency-era romantic comedy set in 19th century London and based on the same novel by Susan Allen, Mr. Malcolm An impressive ensemble was assembled, including Freida Pinto, Zaveh Ashton, Ashley Park, Xảpẹ Dirisu, Theo James and Oliver Jackson-Cohen. It was produced by Jones with Rebelle Media, Untitled Entertainment and Blinder Films.
Jones was behind the 2019 short film Mr. Malcolm: Overturewhich starred Gemma Chan, Pinto and Dirisu, among others, and debuted as Refinery 29The Shatterbox anthology series became its most-watched installment in less than 72 hours, with more than five million impressions across social channels. In parallel with the filming, Jones receives several commercial, documentary and photographic works.
