Stranger Things’ Joseph Quinn is detained at airport and later released after being recognized by the series

Joseph Quinn explained how airport officials reacted after finding out he was part of Stranger Things

the character of Joseph Quinn freed the actor from prolonged immigration detention at an airport in the United States. the actor plays Eddie Munsonone of the most beloved characters of the fourth season of Stranger Things (2016).

Quinn commented on the situation during the talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this Monday, July 25th. “It’s so good to be here, because I almost didn’t make it. I was held up at the immigration department yesterday,” the Briton revealed to the presenter. Jimmy Fallon.

“I was taken to what I think could be called a dungeon,” Quinn joked. “And I was waiting for about 20 minutes and before being called to a table where I was asked, ‘What are you doing in the States, sir?'”

The artist was sincere with the policeman, and said that he had landed in the North American country to meet with fallon. “He didn’t believe me,” she said.

That’s when another airport official recognized the embattled actor. “One of his colleagues looked at him, looked at me and said, ‘Let Eddie in peace. And the Eddie from ‘Stranger Things’.”

It was only then that the first police officer realized that he was interrogating someone he already knew – and took the opportunity to ask a question about Stranger Things. “He said, ‘You are Eddie Munson?… Will you come back next season?'” Without knowing the answer, the officer releases him, finally saying ‘Better come back’, allowing the actor to enter the country.
