Three years ago, it was officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con that Marvel Studios had Fantastic Four coming soon, and during last weekend’s SDCC it was revealed that the next Marvel movie will be part of the Phase 6 lineup, along with two new Avengers movie. So, assuming there are no delays, we can expect Marvel’s first family to return to the big screen in less than two and a half years, and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has revealed a key way to achieve this. Fantastic Four the reboot will be different from the previous series of films focusing on these superheroes: there will be no other origin story.

Fantastic Four, but in April, Watts ditched the reboot because he wanted to take a break from superhero movies. It is therefore not yet known who will replace Watts as director. It may take a while to learn about this information and who will be playing the other three main roles.
