A revised Cleopatra and (a little) correct
In this fifth episode in real shots, the famous Gauls leave their village to save a Chinese princess. Asterix (Guillaume Canet) and Obélix (Gilles Lellouche) cross the empire in the middle to face a general criminal, with the help of their eternal allies: magic potion, collective slaps and cars -mockets.
The Casting Full Full: Vincent Cassel En César, Julie Chen in the role of the princess was Yi, Ramzy Bedia, José Garcia, Jonathan Cohen and even Zlatan Ibrahimović in an unlikely guest. And of course Marion Cotillard, who supports here The mythical role of Cleopatra. Grimed under a wig, prosthesis and a deliberately outraged accent, embodies BaldAn owner of a Terrosa inn that helps our heroes during their trip. This colorful character, created specifically for the film, evokes the Gotailille d’Arletty and the intonations of Edith Piaf – an obvious wink for The childwho earned his Oscar in Cotillard. In a tasty scene, Bibine even chatted with Cleopatra, thus offering the actress a rare double face to face with herself. A delusional cameo that many have not identified, since the transformation is pushed.
With The middle empireGuillaume Canet has signed a return from Asterix to the cinema after more than ten years of absence. When it was released in February 2023, the film attracted 4.6 million spectators in cinemas, but the criticisms were shared. Many praised the generosity of the project, others underlined the too exploded and irregular humor.
