Oliver Broome was camping in England when he was surprised by an illegal rave
A man camped out in Yorkshire Moors, England over a weekend and accidentally walked into an illegal rave. Second Yorkshire Live (via NME), Oliver Broome went camping last Saturday, 2nd, and was surprised by a group of young people with speakers.
“The first half of the night went according to plan,” he explained. “I arrived, made my dinner on the little stove and had a few beers. Around 10:30 pm I grabbed my sleeping bag to start unwinding for the night. It was at this point that it got weird. I was listening to people talking.”
broome continued: “I could hear some guys talking and they seemed to be approaching, obviously I’m in the middle of nowhere – I thought I was going to be murdered for sure.” So, the man decided to leave the tent to confront the youths and realized that “they were carrying speakers and then everything started to make sense.”

The boys around 18 joined more people and turned the camp into a nightclub, complete with speakers, a DJ table and lights. “It was an illegal rave right next to my tent. I had no choice but to get stuck and join the party. I will admit they were very welcoming and provided beers for the night,” he said.
According brome, the rave lasted until seven in the morning with 50 ravers playing electronic music throughout the night. “The chances of something like this happening in the middle of nowhere are unbelievable,” she concluded.
