Project, which will be shown at Cineclube Curtain, took about a decade until it was completed and is just over an hour
Who are the artists of the future: machines or humans? This is the question that crawls the new audiovisual project TALL TALESfrom Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorkevocalist of Radioheadwith the visual artist JONATHAN ZAWADA. Divided between medium-year and album, the project that took about a decade to be completed comes solely and exclusively to Brazil next Thursday, 8, at Cineclub Curtain, in São Paulo. Tickets are now available for purchase by Sympla, starting at $ 50.
According to a press release, Zawada has created an ultra-digitized fairy tale with dystopic cotton sweet-colored illustrations interspersed with real images to discuss the relationship of creation and destruction between humans and technology. “The Conversation is Missing Your Voice” and “Gangsters”album singles TALL TALES (2025), reveal the first pieces of the headbreaker that will be closed in the narrative of the film. The contrast between electronic music production and Yorke’s vocals reflect a frustration with modernity, which, despite having reached the technological peak, failed with its promise to increase the idle time and well-being of humans.
At Cineclub Curtain, the experience starts at 19h, with DJ and Bar open, until the screening at 20hrs. The duration of TALL TALES It is 64 minutes, and after the movie, disco and drinks continue on the top floor.
