The series is an epic romantic adventure based on the life of the famous outside American law Billy the Kid from his humble Irish roots, passing through his early days as cowboy and gunslinger on the American border, to his crucial role in the Lincoln County War and beyond.
The series was created, written and produced by MICHAEL HIRST (Vikings, The Tudors, Elizabeth), alongside executive producers Line Donald (From line pictures), Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey (Amblin Television). Billy The Kid It is produced by MGM+ Studios and Amazon Studios: Pan-English Scripted TV, in association with Amblin Television and Line Pictures, and distributed internationally on MGM.
Who’s in the cast?
In addition to Blyth, Daniel Webber (The justice) is also in the cast. He plays Jesse Evans, another famous outlaw and leader of the Seven Rivers gang.
