Abel Pintos presents “thank you to life”, his new EPComposed of emotional versions of Latin American musical classics which are part of their personal and musical history.
Yes, with a deep and meticulous interpretation, Abel pays tribute to these songs which, as he expresses, “he would have liked to write.”
This new record work includes the reversions of great authors and artists of Spanish distribution, crossed by the sensitivity of Abel and the unique voice.
Four advances were already known. The first was “suddenly” by Soraya; Then “I devoted myself to getting lost”, a song written by Leonel García that we met in the historic version of Alejandro Fernández, now next to the Ha * Ash duo; “I believe in you”, Monica Vélez’s work with the Mexican group Reik and “You Are”, by Café Tacvba.
“They excite me as deeply as my own songs, but in a different way, because it is curious to be able to find in a way of speaking which is not typical, but it is the way of speaking of the author, of the emotions that we feel that they belong to him and that they are things that we feel and that we have inside his new work.
And he added: “I’m talking about you every day and When I sing songs by other authors, it’s like talking about you. They say the same things but in a completely different way and that excites me. “”
