Denise Faro presents “Raíces”, a compilation of Italian hits in Spanish which surprises by its arrival and the talent of interpreter.
Although he has made firm strides in the world of music, the singer does not forget her roots, the artists who marked her, one of those early songs he liked to sing as a child. This is how “Raíces” was born, a selection of songs to open his heart to those he loves the most.
The “Roots” Medley is therefore composed of “Live me” (Laura Pausini), “Black Afternoons” (Tiziano Ferro), “My story between your fingers” (Gianluca Grignani), “Laura Isn’t There” (Nek) and “The most beautiful thing” (Eros Ramazzotti).
“I chose these songs because they are all artists who made me dream of the goals I have today as an artist. They managed to move from Italy to Latin America and the rest of the world with their songs,” he explained..
And he added: “These are the same songs, which are part of my life, that since I was a child I sing in my mother tongue and that today I can take them in Spanish like them in this potpourri emotions and beautiful memories for me. Artists I admire, friends in life, my references, my inspirations to cross borders and conquer new audiences, to unite cultures to my music, these are my Italian roots in songs that I rediscover in a new language for me but that I feel like my own, a familiar sound, with the warmth of home”.
This release of “Raices” follows the artistic journey of Denise Faro, who last year presented her first album entitled “Cambio de Ruta” (Cambio di rotta) in double version (Italian and Spanish).
