The Boys: New Season 4 Supers Will Leave Fans ‘Horrified and A Little Sick’

In July of this year, Eric Kripkeresponsible for adapting the boys for the Amazon Prime Video, stated that the fourth season of the series would be about the children of the protagonists. Now, the showrunner has released more information about new characters and confirmed that Ryan (Cameron Crovetti) will be even more important in the next phase of the show.

The third and most recent season of the boys ended in a contradictory way, with homelander (Antony Starr) figuring out where Ryan, her biological son, was in hiding. Alienated by his father, the boy, in one of the last scenes, seemed to enjoy the great power of homelander and how easily he kills civilians.

With this hook, the theory emerged that the character of Cameron Crovetti should take up even more space in the fourth season. In an interview with collider, Eric Kripke confirmed that “Ryan is a very important part” of the narrative and pointed out that if the boy “follows the path of homelanderit will be a nightmare for the planet.”

Last Monday, 01, then, the page of the boys on Twitter confirmed that crovetti will be a fixed character in the next season. In the post, the production also announced two new Supers: firecrackerInterpreted by Value Curry (The Lost Symbol), and Sister Sagelived by Susan Heyward (Orange Is the New Black).

Reacting to the page’s publication, Eric Kripke revealed that “these new Supes are some of the best and craziest ever written for the boys”. It turns out that, apparently, the new characters must test the audience’s patience once again, following the trend of the series, which loves to reverse some concepts.

according to Screen Rantit is believed that much of the feeling of horror cited by the showrunner resides in the fact that, after the third season, homelander can become a loving parent in the eyes of the Ryandespite the regrets, since the boy’s relationship with Butcher (Karl Urban) was fractured after the death of becca (Shantel VanSanten).
