Disney National Series+ Mix Football, Journalism and Rivalry in a plot starring Carol Castro and José Loreto
Cross -gamenew Brazilian Original Brazilian Series promises to unite the backstage of football with the world of sports journalism in a plot that mixes drama, comedy and social criticism. The production is starring Carol Castro (Passionate Women) and José Loreto (Go in the faith).
What is it about?
The series follows the trajectory of Matheus Reis (José Loreto), a talented soccer player, but also known for his media behavior and celebrity life outside the fields – entitled to product line and raids in music. Journalist Elisa Montes (Carol Castro) accompanies his career with skepticism and blunt criticism. After being fired, Elisa bets everything on an exclusive report that ends up hurting Matheus’s career.
As a turnaround, he is invited to be a sports commentator – and ends up dividing the bench with Elisa herself. The result is a direct confrontation in front of the cameras, filled with rivalries, opinion shocks and live tension. With humor and critical look, a cross game discusses journalistic ethics, fame and possible restarts both inside and outside the pitch.
