Myke Towers presents “expectations”, A new advance of what will be his next studio album: “Island Boyz”.
After the success of “Soleaoo” with Quevedo, the Porto Rican lowered a change and presents a more intimate, but just as powerful song.
Produced by Daramola and Moon Willis, “Expectations” navigate an Afrobeat beat in which Myke combines its characteristic flow with a lyrical loaded with emotion.
Among desire, vulnerability and uncertainty, the theme opens a new door in its repertoire: that of the introspection of maturity. There is no more useless, but an honest exploration of love, doubts and what is not always said.
The video clip accompanies this tone with a simple and real aesthetic. Rolled to Puerto Rico, he shows scenes from daily life on the island: landscapes, gestures, looks that complete the atmosphere of the theme. Myke appears on the beach, alone, walking, observing, as if he spoke with his roots and with this new artistic scene which, without losing his seal, seems more conscious.
