Over fifty years later, Foreigner Once again brought to the screen
As announced last February, François Ozon will bring one of the most cited novels to the screen of the French literature to the screen: ForeignerWritten by Albert Camus and published in 1942. Thus will follow Lulino Visconti, who had already produced an adaptation of the famous novel by the native writer of Mondovi. It was released in 1967, over fifty years ago.
According to the official synopsis of the film, Foreigner will take place in Algiers in 1938. He will begin with the death of the mother of Meursault, a man in Trentino. After buried him without showing the slightest emotion, the young man will begin a connection with one of his colleagues, Marie. But soon, his neighbor, Raymond Silès, he will upset his life by triggering a series of events that lead to a drama.
