MARTTEIN has a first “spectacular” for her fans …

Marttein presents “spectacular”, her new EPWith a show at the Vorrix Theater and announces his first tour of Argentina, Mexico and Uruguay.

This daring and conceptual project merges electronics, pop and rock, with collaborations of six sex and Tomás REBORD which provide freshness and depth to the proposal.

“Spectacular” explores the existential vacuum which is hidden behind the glamor of modern life. With five rooms (Four songs and an interlude), Martein sails between irony and political criticism to show overwhelming parties, frantic routines and a culture dominated by power and consumption.

The EP is completed by a short film directed by Valentín Mutti and Oliverio Sisso, where the artist plays a “yupie”, referring to films such as “American Psycho” and “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

The objective of the EP, “Pizza Party”, with six sex, stands out from its contagious electronic rhythm and its sarcastic words which portray the frantic culture of the upper class. Its dynamic sound and impeccable production make this song a dance radiography of a world trapped in its own artifice.

After the success of her first album, nominated for the Gardel Awards, Martein reaffirms with “Spectacular” her place as one of the most original voices of Argentine electronics.
