Matteo Bocelli and Gianluca Grignani and a new version of “My story between your fingers”

Matteo Bocelli and Gianluca Grignani They come together to relive one of the great classics of Italian music: “My story between your fingers.”

30 years after the original launch, the ballad which won Europe and Latin America in 1995 returns in a new duo version, which will be part of Bocelli’s next album, entitled “Falling in Love”.

Collaboration was born when Matteo personally contacted Grignani To ask you to record your own version of the subject. The proposal has become mutual admiration and, finally, a joint recording made in June of this year.

For Grignani, sharing the scene with Bokelli in the prestigious Teatro del Silenzio, in Tuscany, was a unique experience and an exception which, in his words, reminded him “why he makes music”.

“The Mia Storia Tract Le Dita”, an original title in Italian, was included in the album “Destinazione Paradiso”, which exceeded 2 million copies sold.

The song remained number one in several countries and is interpreted by various artists, although it was the first time that Grignani himself has participated in a duo of his emblematic creation.

The first live from the new version took place last week during the presentation of Matteo at the Teatro del SielenzioIn what his beginnings meant as the main artist of this emblematic scenario founded by his father, Andrea Bocelli. Emotional interpretation was one of the most memorized moments of the night.
