A few days from the debut of the documentary series The woman of the abandoned house In streaming, the podcast that inspired the series has just won a new episode, three years after the last news about the case.
What is it about?
Residents of a neighborhood in Campinas claim that Margarida Bonetti lived there, in the back of a house for ten years, as soon as she returned to Brazil amid investigations in the US. And a woman who met her on TV says she came to live with Bonetti after the case was revealed because she had moved her story and wanted to help – but then she was explored by the woman, says the description of the episode. What is the story of The woman of the abandoned house?
Node podcast, Chico Felitti He presented the peculiar story of a lady living in a ruined mansion in a noble neighborhood of São Paulo. During the investigation, the journalist discovered that his wife and ex-husband illegally kept a Brazilian as a domestic worker in the United States, in a slavery-like situation.
According to Prime Video, the documentary series will present new details about the case, including testimonials of witnesses, which add new layers to the complex history, and unpublished statements of the FBI about the crime.
