Noah Hawley expands Alien’s universe in a plot set before the events of the Ridley Scott classic
The franchise Alien Returns to TV in prelude Alien: Earthseries created by Noah Hawley (Fargo). Set in 2120, production follows Wendy (Sydney Chandler, Don’t worry dear), the first “hybrid” – a human consciousness transferred to a synthetic body – which leads a team after the fall of an alien ship on Earth two years before the Xenomorph’s arrival. The cast also has Timothy Olyphant (Santa Clarita Diet), Alex Lawther (Water), Lily Newmark (Pincushion) and Babou Ceesay (Wolfe).
Responsible for successes such as Fargo, Legionand Star Trek: Discoverythe composer Jeff Russian is the one who signs the soundtrack of Alien: Earth.
In an interview, Russian He explained that he sought to humanize music amid the horror of the series:
“I used voices with real instruments to bring humanity there are times when it may not be felt. My intention was to find the connection between alien, human and hybrid and express it on the trail, maintaining the tone of the first two films of the franchise.”
