Third Season of Smiling Friends arrives later this year at the HBO Max streaming
The animated series Smiling Friendssuccess of Adult swimreturns to its third season at dawn October 6with display at 00h30. The new episodes, approximately 15 minutes each, will be available for streaming in HBO MAX the day after the transmission.
Smiling Friends Accompanies Pim, Charlie and Flint, employees of a mysterious company dedicated to “making people smile” in missions that vary from absurdity to Surreal to help customers in trouble. Animation mixes black humor, eccentric characters (such as Mr. Frog) and increasingly unpredictable situations while exploiting bizarre themes with a comic and subversive tone.
The new chapter wave will accompany them on even more insane adventures as they continue their mission to “spread joy around the world.” According to the preview released by the station, the season will bring unexpected scenes from the search for spiritual gems to a confrontation with an “old witch” and moments that promise to surprise fans.
Smiling Friends established itself as one of the greatest successes of Adult swim in HBO MAX after Rick and Morty: The series was among the 10 most watched on the platform during the debut of season two. The channel has already renewed the animation for a fourth and fifth season.
