‘A big pile of m****’: Jason Momoa destroys his first film

In a recent interview with British GQ, actor Jason Momoa particularly returned to “Conan”, the remake of the famous film with Arnold Schwarzenegger. A real disappointment for the actor who played the Cimmerian warrior.

Released in 2011, Conan, a remake of the popular feature film that Arnold Schwarzenegger starred in in the early 80s, failed to convince many people. With an AlloCiné audience average of 1.7 out of 5, it was also panned by the press and appeared to be a real disappointment for its lead actor.

Indeed, a recent interview British GQJason Momoa, who played the Cimmerian warrior in Marcus Nispel’s film, did not hide the bitter feature film that gave him his first leading role:

“I’ve been in a lot of things and movies where it’s not up to you.”he confided. “Conan was one of them. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, it was taken and turned into a lot of sh*t.”

After Jason Momoa’s remarks, Conan director Marcus Nispel also took the floor, as the actor weighed in on the many challenges he faced during production:

“As a director, in this system, you are like a dog on many leashes”Nispel said at the microphone people.

“Attempting to direct Conan under these circumstances was the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’m unhappy with the outcome. I’m glad none of this has hindered Jason’s career though. . I still assume the decision I made Conan with him.”
