Presented by Petrobras, the event takes place from September 19th to 21st and brings together shows, workshops, conversation wheels and a movie show in spaces such as Anhangabaú Valley, Arts Square and Artistic Theater
THE Festival Returns to São Paulo between September 19th and 21st in its fourth edition in the capital, with free programming that brings together more than 50 national and international attractions in the historic center. The curatorship, signed by Lu Araújobet on the plurality of languages and parallel activities such as Petrobras workshops, Ideas Forum and Cinema Show.
The program includes established names and emerging proposals. Among the highlights are Edu Lobo (Concert at the Artistic Culture Theater), the Iberia Project (Manuel de Oliveira, Carles Benavent and João Frade), ROBERTO FONSECA with the show La Gran Diversiónthe trio DelgrèsGroup Bixiga 70 and singer Votia, from the island of the meeting. From Brazil, also participate Encantado Fire Cordel, Lia de Itamaracá, Carlos Malta & Pife Muderno, Ortitude (With the participation of Maria Alcina), Berlinda Academy and the quartet Ubuntu Ensemble.
The Anhangabaú Valley will be the main stage, with structure to accommodate outdoor performances; Praça das Artes, São Paulo Cultural Center, SP Cine Olido, Artistic Culture Theater, Mário de Andrade Library and the Nossa Senhora do Rosário Church of Black Men are home to shows, debates, workshops and the cinema show. Audiovisual selection includes titles such as MBRAYAPE (Roney Freitas), In the land of Marlboro (CAVI BORGES), ANDu I’m samba, but you can call me Zé Ketti (LUIZ GUIMARÃES DE CASTRO) and The pains of the world – Hyldon.
The festival also brings close collaboration with Jazz in Marciac and is part of the France-Brazil 2025 season, with the participation of institutions such as Institut Français and Guimarães Rosa Institute. The production is by Lu Araújo Produções, supported by the Ministry of Culture, São Paulo State Government, São Paulo City Hall, Petrobras and other institutional partners.
