Gene Gallagher and his band Grunge Villanelle release explosive debut single ‘hingge’

The rock band of Gene Gallagher, Villanellehas been winning fans in love with all of Europe since its first shows in early 2024, and finally released its awaited debut single, “Hingge”.

The track is a powerful dive in the 1990s, mixing influences of Nirvana, SMASHING PUMPKINS, My Bloody Valentine and Dinosaur Jr. “This is the kind of music I like the most, so always have a little of that in everything I write,” says Gene. “‘Hingge’ Talk about paranoia after sleepless nights. I was probably a hangover when I wrote. ”

The band also announced a tour of small concert halls from the UK, which begins in December. Tickets will be on sale from September 17.

The shows of Oasis only motivated even more Villanelle to continue creating your own songs. “By this time, we really begin to understand what our sound is,” he said Schiavo. “We met in this mix of grunge, shoegaze, punk and alternative rock.
