While he was tied to Marvel for a decade, the Thor actor flirted with DC as a young man, so in honor of his birthday, Hemsworth joked about his poor superhero choices as a kid.
The Thor: love and thunder star has decided to celebrate the day of his birth by publishing a photo of him instagram. A young Hemsworth wears a blue turtleneck with a white coat, complete with an old-school Batman logo. Of course, by posting the photo, the MCU star knew she could make jokes about some Marvel fans, so she beat them. She looks at the adorable photo of her, along with her cheeky thoughts about the young self’s opinion of her:
While the star joked that her younger self might be a little disappointed, she probably wouldn’t be very disappointed. She’d probably be impressed to see her superhero dreams come true (not in the DC universe, of course). She’d love to see adult Chris Hemsworth wield Mjolnir and fight as the Avenger on the big screen. I’m sure the youngster would also be impressed by how muscular and tall he has become as an adult. (I mean Hemsworth’s biceps are bananas!)
The sweet image of himself younger wasn’t the only thing the A-lister shared on his special day. The father of three returned to his Instagram account to share a special moment he spent with his children. The kids surprised their movie star dad with a simple version of an ice cream cake with candles (the little ones didn’t use ovens).
