Apple TV+ production, Chief of War revolves around the unification and colonization of Hawaii
next project of Apple TV+, Chief of War will be a drama miniseries starring and scripted by Jason Momoa. This new project marks the second partnership between the star of Aquaman (2018) and streaming, the first was the series See (2018).
Chief of Warwill have eight episodes – and revolves around the unification and colonization of Hawaii from the point of view of the natives, who saw the kingdom come down with the arrival of the North Americans.
In addition to starring and writing the series, Momoa will be executive producer alongside Thomas Pa’a Sibbett, who also helped write the production. Already Justin Chon is in talks to direct the first two episodes.
Filming has not yet begun, and as a result, the miniseries has not yet had a release date.
