Check out Him’s soundtrack, Jordan Peele’s new psychological terror

The movie Goat (2025), produced by Jordan Peele and directed by Justin Tippinghit theaters on Thursday, 2, to redefine psychological terror. The thriller dives into the sports culture of elite, exposing tensions between ambition, performance and mental and physical degradation. The narrative follows Cameron Cadea rising quarterback, which, after an injury, undergoes intensive training. However, the border between hallucination and reality dissolves, revealing a “dark stroke” that sustains the success of its mentor. Check out the trailer:

The soundtrack becomes an essential element to tell this story. Goat adopt a hybrid approach. On the one hand, it rests itself strongly on “modern hip hop and rap”, musical genres associated with aspiration and successful performance in sports. On the other, it emphasizes the tracks with “powerful hymns and orchestral pieces”, reserved for the “most grotesque and important” scenes of the film.
