Alee reveals ‘real trap soul’ album with Klisman and warns: ‘The kids are going to take a hit’

With a “real trap soul” sound, the trapper said that the work will address mature themes and bring a depth that may surprise fans

If the trappers’ collaborative album Alee, Leviano, Young Dex and Brandão remains in the planning phase, the same cannot be said about another project awaited by fans: his album in partnership with the rapper Klisman. In a surprising revelation during an interview with Rolling Stone Brazilthe artist confirmed that the work is already fully recorded and ready, just waiting for the next steps to be released to the world.

“So, the album is ready”declared Alee directly. What is missing, according to him, is the strategic and visual part that will accompany the tracks. “We just need to see the best way to launch and put together the aesthetics as well, which we haven’t put together yet”.

Sonically, the project promises to bring back a more melodic and sentimental side of the artist, inspired by one of his references. “I’m going to bring real trap soul”he stated, citing the genre popularized by Bryson Tiller. The sound, which mixes the trap beat with the R&B melody, will serve as a trail for a deep and mature dive into the complexities of human relationships.

Alee makes a point of differentiating the album’s theme from conventional love songs. “I think the kids are going to take a hit over relationship songs. […] It’s not love music, it’s music about relationships.”he explained.

The album promises to have a tone that will explore the pain, trauma and dynamics that shape how people connect. He concludes that the final message is universal and talks about resilience and freedom, even after the end.

“The album is not [só] about loving one person or another, it’s for all the people who tried and didn’t work out in the end.”reflected Alee. “But whether we like it or not, we are all free.”.

With the songs finished, fans’ expectations now turn to defining the aesthetics and announcing a release date. What is already clear is that the album Alee and Krisman promises to be one of the most introspective and musically refined works of the Bahian artist’s career.
