A new antagonist will appear in the fifth season of Stranger things
In just over a month, the final season of one of the most popular series in Netflix history will begin airing. Nine years after the release of the first episodes of Stranger things, Eleven and her group of friends will embark on one last adventure which, as recently explained, will bring a conclusion “final” to their history and should complete the story arc of all the characters in the show.
If she could count on the support of her friends, the character played by her Millie Bobby Brown has faced many obstacles since the beginning of Stranger things. AND a new opponent who promises to be formidable will be on his trail in the final episodes of the series created by Matt and Ross Duffer.
The government agent sues Eleven
Government figures have not always been on the right side Stranger things. And season five should be no exception to the rule. Why a new character, Doctor Kaywill be introduced in the fifth season of the series. But it’s abouta government agent who will hunt Eleven. In an interview with the magazine Empirewhose latest issue is dedicated to the fifth season of the Netflix series, Ross Duffer introduced this character:
She is extremely intelligent and intimidating. She is a scientist, but can fight and use a gun if she needs to.

To embody such a character, the producers of Stranger things they recruited an icon of action cinema. They then gave the role of Dr. Kay to Linda Hamiltonthe interpreter of Sarah Connor in the franchise Terminator.
Eddie won’t be coming back
If a new character will therefore be introduced in the fifth season of Stranger thingsanother that some fans hope to see again despite his disastrous fate in season 4 will not return. AS, Eddie Munsonthe fan of Dungeons and dragons embodied by Joseph Quinn, he won’t come back from the dead. Matt Duffer confirmed the news Empire : “No, unfortunately rest in peace. It’s totally underground.”.
The final season of Stranger things announces itself particularly spectacular. A few days ago, the Duffer brothers promised it confrontation scenes worthy of the Battle of the Bastards In game of Thrones.
The first four episodes of the fifth season of Stranger things will come out next November 27th. The next four will arrive December 25th. And finally the last one the 1stum January 2026. Subsequent animated spin-off series Chronicles of 1985 will be revealed. The Duffer brothers are also planning another spin-off. Although, as we reported recently, they intend to take their time with this project.
