With Frankensteinthe Mexican filmmaker has finally managed to transpose onto the screen his vision of the most famous story imagined by Mary Shelley, which revolves arounda scientist and the creature he creates and who is considered a monster.

Oscar Isaac he was chosen by Guillermo del Toro to play the scientist Frankenstein. Originally, Andrew Garfield was supposed to play the creature. But he had to withdraw from the project due to a scheduling problem. The role was then entrusted to one of the rising stars of the seventh art: Giacobbe Elordi. My Gothic got the role of Elizabeth Lavenza. AND Christopher Waltz Harlander.

The scientist tries to convince his audience with a new excerpt

Lately, IGN shared an exclusive excerpt from Frankenstein showing the moment in which the scientist at the center of the plot activates his machine to give life to the creature played by Jacob Elordi. AND a new extract of Guillermo del Toro’s film has just been put online.

In this new passage of the feature film, the scientist played by Oscar Isaac presents one of his creations to the public. Try to prove ithe managed to bring back to life a man made up of the body parts of several dead people. The man he talks to refuses to believe him. But part of the public is amazed by the scientist’s demonstration.

No cinema release in France

A few days ago Guillermo del Toro revealed that he wanted to delve deeper into the topic “the pain that is transmitted from one generation to another” with his new film. And Mia Goth said so “People might be surprised to find out how incredibly moving and heartfelt the film is”. Frankenstein it should therefore be particularly emotionally charged.

In the United States the feature film is available in some cinemas from October 17. Unfortunately Frankenstein it will not be released in French cinemas. It will only be visible on Netflix. It will be published there next Friday, November 7th.
