Juanes He is back in Argentina and does not arrive empty-handed. A few days after his concerts in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Córdoba and Rosario, the Colombian artist releases a new version of his iconic hit “La camisa negra”, this time to the rhythm of cumbia, alongside Un Poco by Ruido and Pinky SD.
The idea arose spontaneously during his last visit to the country, when Juanes was invited to the popular cumbia program “Un Poco de Ruido”.
Between casual chats, jokes and glasses of Fernet, the musician was encouraged to revisit some of his classics and ended up giving shape to a collaboration that combines humor, freshness and a lot of rhythm.
The production was done by Pinky SD, a reference in the tropical urban scene, who gave the song a new energy without losing the original essence. The result is powerful and infectious cumbia which renews one of the great anthems of Latin pop.
In addition, Juanes confirmed that he will present this version live with Un Poco de Ruido and Pinky SD during his concert on October 28 at the Buenos Aires Arena. It will be a very special moment in his tour of the country, with a surprise tailor-made for the Argentine public.
With this collaboration, the Colombian once again demonstrates his ability to reinvent himself and connect with new generations, now from the cumbia track, without losing his inimitable character.
