Gene Simmons and all Kiss co-founders say goodbye to Ace Frehley in private funeral ceremony

Family and friends of Ace Frehley celebrated his life on Wednesday during an intimate ceremony in the Bronx, New York, which was also attended by the co-founders of Kiss — Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Peter Criss.

Eddie Trunkpresenter of SiriusXM and close friend of Frehleyshared his reflections on the funeral and confirmed the presence of members of the Kiss. “Ace Frehley was buried today in the Bronx, NY. It was a very emotional few days, to say the least, as we said goodbye to a rock icon and a long-time friend,” he wrote. Earlier that day, Simmons and Stanley released a joint statement, describing Frehley as “an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative and fundamental chapters of the band and its history.” The bandmates concluded: “He is and will always be part of the legacy of KISS.”
